Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California, on the 9th July 1983. Her first job after leaving school was in the real estate industry. It was through this that she met her spouse Tarek El Moussa. They ran a profitable business up until the 2008 stock market crash and saw several real estate investments and home flippers become bankrupt. As a result of the crash Tarek and Christina El Moussa were close to losing all their assets. The couple moved from their expensive house, for which they were paying $6,000 per month, to a modest house that was only $700. Both their business, and the overall economy, recovered slow. HGTV: Rise to Fame Tarek requested a friend of his to make the audition tapes for HGTV in 2011 that featured him as well as Christina flipping a whole home. The tape landed at the feet of executive from a production company known as Pie Town Productions. The executives loved Tarek along with Christina. They signed a contract in 2012 with HGTV. "Flip of Flop" w premiered in April 2013. The series aired 92 episodes between 2013 between 2013 and 2017. Christina and Tarek were the two characters on the show, bought homes, typically moderate-income houses situated in Orange County. Tarek's primary focus is deconstruction and renovating, while Christina prefers design.
